Secondary Schools & Colleges Participation Projects 2022/2023 –
Our Secondary School and College participation projects are an ideal experience for GCSE and A-level drama classes preparing for assessments. Students can watch a production at Reading Rep, and receive a one and a half hour bespoke workshop at either at your school/ college or in the theatre’s studio from a professional facilitator. This workshop will share insights into Reading Rep’s work and encourage pupils as theatre-makers by enabling them to practically and academically evaluate how meaning is created through live theatre. The session will use drama techniques from an award-winning theatre to create a positive experience of contemplating live performance in a physical, interactive, and engaging way.
This project supports and engages with examining boards specifications in reviewing and responding to live theatre.
Jekyll and Hyde: 10th Oct – 29th Oct.
A Christmas Carol: 30th Nov – 16th Dec.
Hedda Gabler: 22nd Feb – 11th March.
