Producer 

To lead the delivery of Reading Rep’s producing slate: our in-house productions, our co-productions, and our visiting and touring work, with the ambition to deliver shows up to midscale touring level. Working closely with the Executive and Artistic Directors, you’ll oversee projects from planning to opening night while helping shape the future of our producing programme with a strong commitment to accessibility, collaboration and artistic excellence.

Place Partnership Project Lead

Reading Rep Theatre is looking for a freelance Project Lead to help set up and begin delivery of the Berkshire Cultural Skills Hub, our Arts Council England Place Partnership.

Although contracted by Reading Rep Theatre as grant holder, the role is explicitly partnership-facing and will work across the agreed governance structures of the Berkshire Cultural Skills Hub. The programme aims to build a joined-up pathway from early cultural engagement into paid work in the creative and screen industries, with a particular focus on underrepresented young people aged 14–24.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, relationship-led and confident working across multiple organisations. This role is about getting the partnership working well, supporting co-design, setting up clear systems and ensuring the firstphase of delivery is ready to progress.

Casual Duty Technician

To supervise the technical operation of Reading Rep Theatre on a day-to-day basis. You’ll ensure the safe and smooth delivery of performances, hires, and events, while supporting the technical needs of both internal teams and visiting creatives.

Welcome Team Member (Volunteer) 

To make Reading Rep Theatre a welcoming space, providing excellent customer service and safe operations for all audience members. You will be the first point of contact, welcoming all visitors, assisting when required, controlling entry to the auditorium, supervising the audience during performances and helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the building.
