Play in a Week – Seniors aged  11+  

The ultimate challenge: work together alongside professional theatre practitioners to devise, write and perform a play in a week.

This holiday camp provides students with an inspiring atmosphere to unleash their creativity, develop new skills and make new friends. They will have the chance to focus on the aspects of theatre that interest them most and they will share their work with family & friends on the Reading Rep stage at the end of the week.

Guest Facilitator

This week we will be joined by professional actor Mabli Gwynne. Most recently, Mabli appeared in the West End production of Dr. Strangelove. Originally from Cardiff, she is a singer-songwriter and actor who loves telling stories through music and performance. She has worked widely in Welsh-language television, including a recurring role on the long-running soap Pobol y Cwm. This summer, she will appear in the Edinburgh Fringe production of Mr. Jones, bringing her passion for character-driven storytelling to one of the world’s most exciting theatre festivals.
