Step into the eerie world of The Woman in Black and design costumes that capture its ghostly Victorian mood.

Explore silhouette, texture and colour to evoke character and atmosphere – from sombre mourning dress codes and shadowy veils to the simple, timeless looks of those haunted by the past. You’ll develop concept sketches and mood boards, experiment with fabric samples and up-cycled materials, and drape ideas on mini mannequins to test shapes and details.

Think tattered hems and deep, inky palettes – design costumes that whisper from another world. Bring your ideas to life and discover how costume design turns a story into a chilling vision.
