West End stars announced for Reading Rep’s West End Experience Summer School

Reading Rep Theatre is delighted to announce that West End performers Deena Kapadia (Mamma Mia!) and Natasha Hoeberigs (The Rocky Horror Show) will lead exclusive masterclasses as part of this year’s West End Experience Summer School.

Taking place from 27–31 July, the week-long musical theatre course gives young performers the opportunity to sing, dance and perform songs from hit musicals including Wicked, Hamilton, SIX, Paddington and more. Throughout the week, participants will work with professional theatre-makers, develop their performance skills and take to the stage in their own West End-inspired showcase for family and friends.

This year’s programme welcomes two exciting guest artists currently working at the highest level of musical theatre.

Deena Kapadia is currently appearing in the West End cast of Mamma Mia!, with previous theatre credits including the UK tours of Kinky Boots and Grease, as well as Disney’s Snow White.

Joining her is Natasha Hoeberigs, who has appeared as Magenta/Usherette in the West End and UK and International Tour productions of The Rocky Horror Show. Her credits also include Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Grease.

The West End Experience is available for two age groups, with Juniors (5–10 years) and Seniors (11–16 years) running simultaneously throughout the week.

The West End Experience forms part of Reading Rep’s packed programme of Summer Schools, which also includes Summer on Stage for young people with additional needs, Play in a Week, Superheroes on Stage, Drama School Prep, and Create, Move, Perform!, offering creative opportunities for young people of all ages and experience levels throughout the summer holidays.
