Join us for a day of discovery and creativity at our Open Day on Saturday 17 February!
We’re throwing open our doors, once again, inviting you to take a sneak peek on what goes on behind the scenes of Reading Rep, meet the team and just have some free fun!
Come along to one, or all of the below activities or just pop your head in for a nose around and a chat.
Throughout the day we will be joined by our friendly workshop leaders and performers putting on plenty of activities to keep you entertained as well as Reading Children’s Book Group who will be selling their latest award winning books and hosting delightful story readings.
Free refreshments will also be available throughout the day.
Schedule
10:30 – Building Open
11:00 – Adult Class Workshop run by Eugene Evans. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-timer, come join the fun!
12:00 – Taster of our Teddy Bear Story Telling Session. Join in our interactive story telling session, a delightful preview of what’s to come after Half Term.
13:30 – Youth Theatre Showing and Taster Workshop with our Senior and Intermediate Youth Theatre leader Amy Ambrose. Join Amy for a dynamic workshop with our talented young performers. Everyone is welcome to join in, witness the magic, and perhaps discover a passion for the stage.
15:00 – Peter Pan Craft Session. Unleash your creativity at our crafts workshop themed around Peter Pan. Create fairy wings or bows and arrows in preparation for a showing of our 2023 production of Peter Pan.
16:00 – Peter Pan Showing. Round off the day with a showing of our production of the timeless classic Peter Pan.
17:30 – End of Day
