DramaFest is Reading’s annual schools drama festival back for the second year.
Designed for schools across Reading and Berkshire, the festival gives students a rare chance to devise, create and perform on a professional stage, supported by industry practitioners and university mentors.
Across the festival, young people develop original work, build confidence and collaboration skills, and experience the buzz of live theatre in a real venue. Schools receive guidance on devising, rehearsal planning and tech to deepen learning. DramaFest champions creative voice, access and inclusion, opening the stage to emerging talent and making high-quality theatre experiences available to all.
