This October join Reading Rep for masterclasses in audition skills.
Whether you are preparing for your Drama School audition or your next professional audition these are the perfect workshops to focus your skills to stand out from the crowd.
Industry professionals will run these fun and engaging sessions, working through your chosen monologue, enhancing skill sets and understanding the different types of auditions so you are as prepared as you can be for your big shot. This is a great way of getting direct feedback and time to enhance your performance.
You can sign up for all three days or just book onto a specific session.
Monday – Monologue Prep and Self Tapes. Run by Amy Ambrose (Leader of Reading Rep’s Youth Theatre and professional actor. Amy has performed in Reading Rep’s A Midsummer Nights Dream and Peter Pan)
Tuesday – Acting through song. Run by Amy Ambrose and Musical Director, Christopher Peters (Just Like That: The Tommy Cooper Show and We Need To Talk About Norman)
Wednesday – Mock Auditions, featuring a guest panel. This session will be run by Christopher Peters (MD), and Sam Amestoy (Guys and Dolls, Assassins).
For ages 16+
Sessions run from 10am – 4pm.
