Volunteering at Reading Rep is a great way to get involved behind the scenes and provide vital support to the theatre. Although the majority of our volunteers work on an on-call basis, we have a limited number of volunteer positions for people who are able to commit to a regular, weekly schedule.

Volunteering at Reading Rep is a great way to contribute your skills and experiences to the theatre, to gain insight into the inner workings of our organization, meet creative people and develop new skills.

If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, please call 01183 750 280 or email volunteer@readingrep.com

Front of House Team

Throughout our season we need volunteers to run our Box Office and Bar. This is an essential role for Reading Rep as you are the first point of contact for someone visiting the theatre. We are looking for friendly individuals with excellent customer service.

Duties include the selling of tickets, programmes, etc. as well as (perhaps) running the licensed bar.

In return for your invaluable help you’ll receive:
• a free drink during the performance
• 2 tickets for any performance of your choice

Why not make the most of it by bringing a friend along to volunteer with you and enjoy the evening together!
