Reading Rep’s small and devoted team work full time, but we are only funded on a project by project basis. This means we are not currently in a position to cover our core costs. We have the loyal support of our audience, Reading Borough Council, Arts Council England and the National Lottery. But it’s not enough. We need your help to cover these costs in order to continue the amazing work we do, both on stage and in the community.
Join the race! Reading Rep’s 100 Founding Friends will each receive a FREE, exclusive, published play text of THE NATIVITY PLAY GOES WRONG, signed by the playwrights.
For just £40 you can become one of the founding friends of Reading Rep. Joint membership is just £60. If you’re a UK taxpayer, we can also claim gift aid as we are a registered charity. Please follow the link above to become a friend!
Your membership will last for one year and you will receive:
1. Our bi-annual newsletter with company interviews, behind-the-scenes features and insights into how Reading Rep works
2. Priority booking to all Reading Rep shows
3. A flexible ticket exchange service (subject to availability)
4. You will be acknowledged as a Reading Rep Founding Friend on our website, and thanked as a Founding Friend in all of our future programmes
Your money will go directly to supporting the work Reading Rep does:
– £250 will subsidise one office volunteer for a month
– £500 will allow us to continue giving 10% of our tickets to disadvantaged adults for free
– £1,000 will pay for our office overheads for a year
This is a unique chance to become one of the founding friends of ‘an exciting and fresh addition to the South East Arts Scene’.
‘Reading Rep’s Board of Trustees are the first to sign up for the 100 Founding Friends scheme. It’s a privilege to help support what is fast becoming one of the most exciting arts organisations in the South East. We feel honoured to be involved in the company from its conception – please do join us in helping the company flourish!’
